| Description: | As many of you know, we are already looking forward to this year's Jacksonville Tattoo Convention. Registration information has been posted on the convention website (www.conventionpros.com). We are moving locations this year to make this the best convention ever. The new location is absolutely amazing in every way. The ballroom is awesome and is attached directly to the hotel/resort. In addition to the amazing shops, we will be adding new contests, seminars, parties and a few more surprises that will be sure to impress. Please remember that booths sell out each year, so don't wait too long to start making your plans for this year's convention. | ||

| Description: | 7th october 1950 and 40,000 chinese troops marched into tibet to remain as a permanent force. 60 years on and that force remains and some of the worlds worst human rights abuses continue to be inflicted on the Tibetan people.Tattoos for tibet aims to raise as much as possible to help the plight of the tibetan people.What i am looking for is tattoo artists to sign up to the cause from all across the globe and all they have to do is on the 7th october complete one tattoo for tibet. What they would normally charge for that tattoo is donated to the SFT. I would also like them to draw a tibetan inspired piece of flash. hopefully we can get enough images to make 2 sets that will be sold to raise even more money for these guys. If the tattoos can be inspired by tibetan art even better. it is my hope to get a feature for all the images in a magazine (hint hint) and we can see how it all goeswhy SFT?? Students for Free Tibet are pro-active i worked extensively with FTC on the Tara Project and all it did was drain my bank account as they never reinvested any of the cash into furthering the project. WIth the exception of one member of staff who was amazing in his own time they did not promote help or advance the project in any tangible way. SFT are the guys that you see on the flag poles, the ones chaining themselves to gates and quickly becoming the recognised voice for exiled tibetans across the world. | ||
